How to prepare:

• Print out the Mother's Day flowers on regular paper, or cardstock for sturdier flowers.Cut out the flowers.
• Using a craft knife, make cuts along the crossed lines in the middle of each flower.
• Next, fold the petals of each flower toward you. 
• You can fold them close to the center of the flower, or for a different look, fold them more toward the outer end of each petal.
• Insert the bottom of your bendy straw through the cut marks made with the craft knife. 
• Slide your flower up to the top of the straw just above the bendy part.
• Fray the top end of the straw with your scissors and bend the strips away from you.
• Place the flowers into a vase and this special Mother's Day gift will be complete.
